The Fledgling Fictionist in her writing and reading hub, sitting on a bed with a coffee in hand, laptop and notebooks nearby, a small stack of books and an open novel with a peach coloured artificial carnation flower stem as a bookmark. She's wearing blue jeans and a thin gold ring on her thumb.

About

The Fledgling Fictionist is a Sydney based aspiring romance author who spends her days wrangling her words, her family, her frenchies and just life in general into some semblance of order, while attempting to keep her rather loud and rude inner critic at bay.

She approaches books and writing in the same way she tries to approach life: with spirit, humour and heart. While the ultimate goal is to traditionally publish a novel of her own, right now she will settle for even finishing one.

Which she will do, eventually. Probably.
